Northeastern Iowa Synodical Women's Organization

As a community of women created in the image of God, called to discipleship in Jesus Christ, and empowered by the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves to grow in faith, affirm our gifts, support one another in our callings, engage in ministry and action, and promote healing and wholeness in the church, the society and the world.

From Your President

Sixty percent of offerings to the Women of the ELCA synod board go to the churchwide office in Chicago for use in four main areas:

Programs - Bible studies, education programs, grant-making, newsletter, and more.
Communications - publications and communications tools, such as Bold Connections, Gather, Interchange, Cafe, website.
Operations - staff and benefits, office space, computers, telephones, supplies, etc.
Governance - work of the executive board, training, travel, meetings, conventions, etc.

Generous regular offerings support our organization in covering expenses and making a difference in the lives of women in our own congregations and around the world.
