Some 65 youth from the Northeastern Iowa Synod attended the 18th Annual Lutheran Youth Organization Assembly in Mason City, Iowa, March 5-6, with the theme, "Living Into the Future Together."

Keynote presenter Erik Ullestad, director of youth and family ministries at Windsor Heights Lutheran Church in Des Moines and a member of the ELCA's Living Into the Future Together (LIFT) Task Force, led group activities for the youth to share what is important to them in the church of the future.

The event also included an improvisational comedy troupe from Riverside Bible Camp, worship led by Pastor Dan Gerrietts and Pastor Darrel Gerrietts, devotions, meals and recreational activities.
